Christina M. Abt is a nationally published essayist and magazine profiler whose work has been published in a variety of newspapers and magazines including The Buffalo News, and online at Heartwarmers.com and Western New York Women.com. Christina is a regular radio commentator for WBFO/NPR Radio where her “Heart and Soul” essays are broadcast on the first Wednesday of every month and are archived at wbfo.org. Christina also writes a weekly Heart and Soul syndicated Internet column which can be found at www.heartandsoulwriter.blogspot.com Christina’s work has been featured in a number of Chicken Soup Books, including the most recently published Chicken Soup to Inspire a Woman’s Soul. Additionally her essays have been published in the Heartwarmer's series of books as well as recorded on the Petwarmer's CD. Along with her writing career, Christina works as part of the marketing/pr team for Lead Dog Communications, a virtual company headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, owned and operated by her son, James. In between writing and public relations work, Christina breeds and raises World Champion Morgan Horses at her Crystal Hill Farm in Eden. Christina is the mother of two terrific children Lisabeth and James; mother-in-law to number one good guy, Kevin; Nana to two perfectly perfect grandchildren, Bennett Christopher and Ella Rose. And she will always be her mother's daughter.
